For the 2024 season, Chevrolet is adding two all-electric SUVs to its lineup: the Blazer EV and Equinox EV. Both vehicles are built on Chevrolet's exclusive Ultium platform, which features up to three motors and 24 battery modules to accommodate various performance and driving characteristics. The Chevrolet Bolt isn't receiving a 2024 model, but a second-generation model, built on the more advanced Ultium battery technology platform, is expected to return in 2025. Chevrolet Blazer EV

The Chevrolet Blazer is a midsized crossover SUV with impressive interior space and power. Although the gas model went into production in 2019, Chevrolet is also introducing a new all-electric model for the first time in the upcoming 2024 season. The Blazer EV has made an immediate impression on the industry, winning the MotorTrend 2024 SUV of the Year Award over the gas-only mainstays and competition. Featuring a maximum of 557 horsepower and approximately 279 miles of range on a single charge, the Blazer EV is ready to go the extra mile.

The Blazer EV is available in three different trims: the standard LT, the more advanced RS, and the truly premium SS. The LT comes standard with an 11-inch driver information screen, a 17.7-inch infotainment screen, 19-inch wheels, and all-wheel drive capabilities. It also features the Chevy Safety Assist package with standard automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, forward collision alert, following distance indicator, automatic high beams, and a lane keep assist with a departure warning.

In addition to the standard features, the RS trim also comes standard with premium seating, larger 21-inch wheels, a hands-free rear liftgate, an illuminated logo, and the option for rear-wheel drive with extended 320 miles of range. The SS trim features 22-inch wheels, the option for Super Cruise driver assistant technology, a Wide-Open Watts performance mode, and an estimated 294 miles of range with performance all-wheel drive.

Chevrolet Equinox EV

The Chevrolet Equinox is a compact crossover SUV, first introduced with an all-electric model for the 2024 season. It features up to 1500 pounds of towing capacity with the optional trailering package included and a maximum cargo space of 57.2 cubic feet with rear seats folded. Front-wheel drive models can achieve an EPA-estimated range of 319 miles on a single charge. Customers have a choice between the level one charging module, which delivers 120 volts at a time, and the level two charger, which delivers 240 volts.

The Equinox EV comes in five different trims. The 1LT features 19-inch wheels, a 17.7-inch touch-screen display, and Chevy Safety Assist standard. The 2RS trim also comes with HD surround vision, a power liftgate, 21-inch wheels, wireless phone charging, multi-color ambient lighting, a heated steering wheel, front seat, and mirrors. The 2LT comes with a front LED light bar, available all-wheel drive, and the option for advanced safety features. The 3LT features reverse automatic braking, adaptive cruise control, heated front and rear outboard seats, and the option for a head-up display and Super Cruise technology. The 3RS features dark aero wheels and a black-painted grille panel. Most trims are expected to come out by the middle of 2024.
